# 86 - Law of Variety

“Variety is the spice of life” – William Cowper

One reason people stop exercising is due to boredom. It’s boring to do the same workout in the same place at the same time.

Look for ways to vary your exercises. You could walk in different locations. I even find walking on the opposite side of the street less boring.

One thing I do when working out at home is to use randomness to make my workout more interesting.

You can write exercises on index cards shuffle them and pick from the top of the deck. You now have a random exercise routine.

I’ve also used Excel in a website called http://Excelcise.com for this or the http://Listi.net website.

To use Listi.net:
1. Sign up for an account at http://Listi.net
2. Create an Exercise list
3. Add &shuffle=y to the end of the URL and the list will shuffle
4. Shuffle the list and do the exercises in order
