# 77 - Law of Overdoing It

“Do you like it rare, medium or well-done?” – Typical question from a waiter

One problem with starting a new exercise program is overdoing it. Many people, yours truly included, will join a gym, and go religiously for a few weeks and then stop.

This is because you overdo the workout causing pain or injury.

Make working out a habit and try not break world records in the squat.

At home, try to do any exercise for 5 minutes, even stretching, 3 days per week. Keep doing it until it becomes a habit.  You can raise the time each effort.

My son recently started a 90 day DVD program. He did it for a week and then stopped. The program was too hard and he never got into the habit of doing the exercises.
