Joining a team is a great way to get exercise and also meet people. Since most teams have a schedule you are forced to exercise as many games as are in the season.

Whether it’s bowling, basketball, racket ball, tennis, ice hockey, softball, volleyball or soccer you’ll get a good workout from these sports and hopefully have fun while you do it.

Look for ways to have fun while exercising and you’re likelier to do it.

My preference is for either roller or ice hockey. Fortunately where I live there are many opportunities to play in team sports.
