91 Immutable Laws of Weight Loss

# 89 - Law of Telling Others

When you tell others about your diet it’s harder to go off of it.

I’ve found that blogging and tweeting about my diet has helped keep me on the diet. If I gain weight I’d be embarrassed that I couldn’t do it.

You can see my posts on twitter on weight loss.

When on the Excel Diet you should blog and tweet about what you’re doing. If you mention @AlecBerg or use the hashtag #ExcelDiet, I’ll retweet your post to my 70,000+ followers and mention your blog in mine.

If you don’t want people to know that you’re on a diet or your actual weight then just use a pseudonym.

You can also tell friends and family. But there is a danger that these people will become food police to you and you might eat the foods you shouldn’t just to get back at them.

Another udea is start a weekly “mastermind” group or meetup. You get on a conference call or in person with one to five other people and discuss your weight, what’s working and what’s not.
