91 Immutable Laws of Weight Loss

# 90 - Law of Rewards

“If the reward is high enough you can get a man to do anything.” – Al Berg

One way to improve your odds of losing weight loss is through rewards and it works. If I offered you a billion dollars to lose weight and keep it off, I’m sure you’d figure out how to do it. The right reward can motivate your success.

On the Excel Diet you should reward yourself with something for accomplishments:
• Getting ahead of your daily goal
• Reaching a new low weight
• Reaching a weight goal
• Going down a belt notch

Hold back on things that make you gain weight until you reach one of the above goals.

If you like to drink alcohol, then don’t drink any until you reach a goal and give yourself a reward.

Just make sure the reward doesn’t counteract your weight loss efforts.  For example, if you start at 150 pounds, lose 5 pounds in 5 weeks and you reward yourself by gaining 6 pounds then you know this won’t work.
