There is some evidence that eating spicy foods can affect your metabolism by speeding it up due to a chemical called Capsaicin and also reduces the amount of food you consume.

I like to eat spicy foods because I find it reduces my hunger by increasing my liquid consumption.

I like to eat spicy cashews from Trader Joes. It’s hard to overeat them due to the kick they give. I also drink a lot so as long as it’s a no calorie drink this doesn’t hurt me either.

It’s worth giving it a try and seeing if it works for you.
