Losing weight and keeping it off is like walking a tightrope. The losing weight part is like climbing up the ladder. It’s not the hard part.

Keeping the weight off is like walking on the tightrope. It’s so easy to fall off if you’re not careful. The other point that’s different is keeping the weight off is like forever being on a tightrope with the ability to take a break every so often (when you’re below your daily goal)

I use this analogy to make you see that losing weight is the easy part. But the important thing is not to underestimate the difficulty of keeping the weight off. Now just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it can’t be done. It means you must accept the fact that if you want to keep your weight off you can’t go back to your old ways of eating and being a couch potato.
