91 Immutable Laws of Weight Loss

# 19 - Law of Belief

“I think I can.” – The Little Train that Could

If you believe you can’t lose weight you won’t. If you believe you can, you will. So how did I go from thinking, “It’s impossible to lose weight,” to “It’s easy to lose weight and keep it off.”

By tracking my weight each day and modifying my exercise and food intake I was able to lose a pound a week. At the beginning, I would gain a little weight back and it would worry me. But I kept doing what worked. It was slow at first but as time progressed the actions became easier and easier. I could see that the diet was working. All I had to do was stick with it.

Had I thought the diet would fail, I would have failed.

Catching the goal line was a key for me. I was behind my goal but realized that if each day I lost more than 1/7th of a pound I would catch the goal line.

The Excel Diet will work. I’m proof of it.
