91 Immutable Laws of Weight Loss

# 17 - Law of Priorities

If you are overweight your priorities aren’t right. You need to make weight loss a priority.

I use to eat poorly and work overtime, but now I leave my office each day at 5 PM so I can walk for one hour to make the 6 PM train. My priorities use to be work but now my health comes ahead of it.

My priorities weren’t to lose weight. My priority was to enjoy the food I was eating. Enjoying food is okay but it does come at a cost, being overweight and poor health.

My weight loss program takes a priority over other things. If my family asks me “Do you want ice cream?” If I’m behind my goal I say “I can’t.” and explain why. I also can buy and save it for when I’m ahead of my daily goal.

What is your priority is it losing weight and keeping it off or is it getting high from that delicious snack?

Make weight loss a priority. Put it at the top of your to-do list. Take action daily action towards your weight goals.

Do you make time for exercise? Do you select the lowest calorie item on the menu or the highest? What’s your priority?
