“If you want to get something done, do it yourself.” I lost my weight by myself. Now you may want to try doing it with others for encouragement, but what happens if you buddy falls off the weight-loss wagon. By doing it yourself you become responsible for following the weight loss program. You’re the one who has to improve your eating and increase your exercise. Waiting to find a partner is a trap. If your partner fails, they may try to sabotage your weight loss. I found that people who lost weight and kept it off created their own rules and methods. Don’t get me wrong, if you can find a group exercise activity that is enjoyable please participate, just understand that the weight loss and the eating are totally within your control and not someone else’s. |
