“Never quit a job unless you have a new one or are rich” – Al Berg Many people on diets eventually quit. Often, this is because the diet was too hard. Maybe the habits that were needed never kicked in. This certainly happened to me. In dieting and in life quitting will often end any possibility for success. When I first started the diet, I didn't get off to a good start. I reached my all-time-high weight and was far away from my daily goal. I was tempted to quit but something in me thought that I shouldn’t quit. You don’t have to be perfect on the diet by any means. But you do have to moderate your action to lose more than 1/7th of a pound each day. If you do quit, you can start the diet again at any time. It took me a few times of trying and failing before I succeeded. I always had that goal. It wasn’t until I really wanted to be thin badly enough and found the right combination that it worked. Don’t quit. See the Law of Boiling Water for more information on why you shouldn't quit. |
