# 58 - Law of Bread Before Your Meal


When eating at restaurants, you’re often served bread before your meal. This is usually where you can add a lot of empty calories, plus the butter. Also, it’s usually hard for me to control my intake.

I try to avoid eating this bread especially if behind my daily weight loss goal.

Try to have the waiter not bring this to your table, though this can be hard if you’re out with your kids or friends.

Try having a low-calorie soup or salad instead.
