# 50 - Law of Diet Soda

If you have a choice between regular soda and diet soda, pick the diet. There are about 150 calories in a 12 oz. can of soda and 0 and a diet soda. Drink three of these per day and you have an excess of 450 calories. Do this seven days a week and you’ll gain almost a pound a week. Now if you’re currently drinking regular soda, and convert to diet soda or water you could lose close to a pound a week.

Now the only caveat is whether you add additional foods or keep it the same. So when you have a choice go diet or go to the gym.

If you weigh 150 pounds you’d have to walk 55 minutes at two miles per hour. I think I’d skip the soda.
