# 37 - Law of Your Diet is Never Over


“It’s over when the fat lady sings”

Your diet is never over. If it’s only temporary then the odds that you’ll keep your weight off is very low.  Don’t start any diet or exercise program unless you’re committed to it for the rest of your life.

The word diet implies a temporary pattern. That’s one of the reasons I’ve coined the acronym LWAKIO (Lose Weight and Keep It Off).

The most important part is monitoring your weight, so you don’t go above your goal, converting actions to habits and adjusting.

Some people will get depressed in finding out that they can never eat the way they use to. There may be a safe drug or surgery that changes that but for now, there isn’t.
